FS-200-FI
Electronic fuel injection
4 Stroke Engine
32.4cc for Airplane
Designed specifically for F3A competition, the FS-200-FI is the worlds first
fuel injected 4 stroke model aircraft engine.
Developed especially for the specialized flight characteristics required for
acrobatic flights.
In the competition acrobatic world where highly precise manoeuvres are required,
O.S. has added this specialized engine with the necessary power requirements
required for the F3A competition to their engine line up. The fuel injection
system, developed in conjunction with Futaba, has been pre-set to deliver the
best power, throttle response and fuel consumption.
Fuel injection unit maintains stable fuel delivery throughout the flight.
Aimed expressly for stunt competition, the fuel injection unit and tank
pressurized pump in conjunction with the EC-3 supply the engine's requirements
throughout the most violent flight manoeuvres.
Further developed electronic device
The EC-3 that controls the injection volume can be called the brain of the
FS-200S-FI. It is also equipped with flight decoding function that records the
maximum engine rpm in the memory for later down loading.
A blue rocker cover is utilized to represent the latest generation of 4 stroke
engines
The FS-200S-FI is based on the FS-200S, O.S.'s largest single cylinder 4 stroke
engine. However, it is equipped with a blue rather than black rocker cover.
NOTE
Since this engine is designed expressly for F3A competition, it is intended to
be used by the more experienced flier with engine knowledge
