The Edge 540 was a major player in the World Championship of the legendary Red Bull Air Race. Breathtaking action for the spectators and amazing flying skills were at the highest level of the hallmarks of this well known World Championship. Matthias Dolderer was one of the outstanding pilots of this series and showed with his Edge 540 in the truest sense of the word a breathtaking performance. Our model of the Edge 540 in Dolderer design is the original in every way. Due to the rapid response and the absolutely neutral flying characteristics, the Edge 540 is perfect for amazing aerobatic flying.

Fuselage, Main Wingn and tail are made of the light weight and strong material HypoDur®. All parts are already painted, the decals are already applied to the model.

The brushless direct drive is powered by a 3s LiPo battery and gives the model a powerful flight performance. The motor is controlled by a 40A Skywalker ESC made by Hobbywing. The ailerons are linked by a separate servo on each side. Likewise, the servos for elevator and rudder are already installed in the fuselage. All linkage are ready to fly installed and adjusted.

The Edge 540 Dolderer is available either as an ARF or RTF version. The ARF-version of this model contains four preinstalled servosand the drivetrain, consisting of the brushless motor and 40A Skywalker ESC. The RTF version also includes the ready to fly mounted 2.4GHz radio system, the LiPo battery and the 12V balancer charger. Due to the high degree of prefabrication, the model is ready to go within a very short time.
Once airborne, the model shows its full potential! Rolls, loops, snap maneuvers - the Edge 540 provides full aerobatics without any compromises! Furthermore, the Edge 540 impresses by its neutral roll behaviour.
