Bigger — and easier to enjoy — than ever before!

Over 12,000 Corsairs were built during its eleven-year history — a number which ranks it as one of the most popular and recognizable fighters of WWII. It was instrumental in breaking the Zero’s air superiority in the Pacific theatre and earned the nickname “Whistling Death” for its fighting effectiveness. Despite the Corsair’s popularity, the work required to build the gull wing prevented many R/C pilots from flying one — until now. Gold Edition ARF engineering has reduced months of building work to just hours of simple assembly, and created a convenient way to enjoy the “bent-wing” bird on a giant scale.

  • Features built-up and sheeted sections finished in flat MonoKote® film

  • Speeds and simplifies assembly with prehinged control surfaces and painted fiberglass parts.

  • Designed and built for Robart® retractable landing gear.

  • Includes “extras” such as a machined spinner, authentic wheels, flat-finish decals, a work/display stand and a foam work mat.

  • The Corsair’s trademark “gull” shape is reproduced at the factory, eliminating hours of building work.

  • Reinforced mounts for Robart® retractable landing gear are built into the inner wing panel. That way, the main gear remain in place when outer panels are moved, and provide an easy way to “walk” the fuselage to and from the field.

  • The prehinged flaps on the center section and outer panel are linked with a phenolic tab. Once linked, the flaps in both panels work as one surface and require only one servo in each wing half.

  • The flaps, ailerons and elevators are prehinged to reduce build time.
